Ryushi Lindsay is a British-Japanese filmmaker based between the UK and Japan. Particularly interested in aesthetics, nation, race, and colonial pasts and presents, his work spans fiction and non-fiction.

His work has screened on MUBI as well as at festivals including Short Shorts and Aesthetica, and he has previously received support from BFI Network and the Japanese culture ministry. He is a B3 Biennale Hessenlab, Zurich Film Festival Academy, and Pustnik Residency alum.

He is currently developing a neo-western noir feature set in the Scottish Highlands with Edinburgh-based Finite Productions, and working on a feature documentary about dogs.
